Ghostbusters Family Movie Night

The SGA will sponsor a free family movie night featuring, "Ghostbusters," on Thurs., Oct. 25, beginning at 7 p.m. This event is open to students, staff, and the public. Admission is one canned food item. Free snacks and prizes will be available. Costumes are encouraged.

HCC’s Student Government Association will host a family movie night on Sat., Sept. 17, beginning at 8:30 p.m., in the HCC Alumni Amphitheater. The movie night will feature the animated children’s film, “Kung Fu Panda 2,” staring the vocal talents of comedian Jack Black.

Come to the Science Building, room 117, to watch a free showing of "No Impact Man," a documentary that follows  a Manhattan-based family that decides to abandon their high consumption lifestyle and try to make it one year with no net environmental impact.

This event is free and is open to all students. Light refreshments will be served.

A free showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be shown at 2 p.m. in the Student Center. Special Harry Potter activities will be held the same day beginning at 1 p.m.

This event is free and is open to the public.  Light snacks will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Harry Potter-themed costumes.

Free showing of Despicable Me

“Despicable Me,” starring the voice talents of Steve Carell, Jason Segal, Russell Brand, and Julie Andrews, will be shown at 7 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 2 and Fri., Dec. 3, and again at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 4. All shows will be held in the Student Center on HCC’s main campus. Children and adults are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring pillows and blankets to watch the movie.
