Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association will host a free showing for “New Moon,” the second installment of Stephanie Meyer’s acclaimed “Twilight” saga starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The show will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Classroom Building Auditorium, CLR-111.

SGA hosts Friday the 13th Movie Night

Beginning Thurs., Nov. 12, Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association will host a free movie night for the 2009 remake of “Friday the 13th,” starring stuntman Derek Mears. The film is a remake of the “Friday the 13th” movie franchise, a series that spawned more than 10 films after the debut of Sean S. Cunningham’s original film in 1980.

All shows will be held in the Classroom Building auditorium, CLR-111. Show times are as follows:

Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association is hosting a family film double feature from Fri, Nov. 20 through Sun., Nov. 22. “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will be shown, followed by “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”

All shows will be held in the Classroom Building auditorium, CLR-111. Show times are as follows:

Fri., Nov. 20: 2 p.m.
Sat., Nov. 21:12 noon
Sun., Nov. 22: 1 p.m.

This event is free and is open to the public.  Light snacks will be provided.

SGA hosts "Angels and Demons" movie night

HCC's Student Government Association (SGA) will host a free movie night for students on Fri., Sept. 25 and Sat., Sept. 26. The film "Angels and Demons" will be shown. Based on the novel by Dan Brown, best-selling author of "The Da Vinci Code," this film stars Tom Hanks, who reprises his role as Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon.

All shows will be held in the Kepler Theater.

Show times:
Fri., Sept. 25 -
1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Sat., Sept. 26 -
10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.

SGA's Family Movie Day

Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association is hosting a family movie day on Sun., May 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. in HCC’s Kepler Theater. The movie day will feature the animated family film, “Monsters vs. Aliens,” starring the vocal talents of Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland, Paul Rudd, and Renee Zellweger.
