Student Valentine's Day Dance

The HCC Student Government Association will hold its annual Valentine's Day Dance on Fri., Feb. 15, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the Student Center.

This year's theme is "Dress to Impress." The event will include free food and beverages and music by one of Phantom Shadow's finest DJs. Attendees can also take part in a raffle to win a 42" TV, an Apple iPad mini, and a Kindle Fire HD as part of the SGA's "Support the Hawks" contest.

Admission is free for current HCC students with a valid student I.D. Student can bring one guest, age 16 or older.

Equinox Dance Company Performs

The Equinox Dance Co. will perform on Fri., Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m., in HCC’s Kepler Theater.

Based in Frederick, Md., Equinox Dance Company is a contemporary women’s dance group for adults that specializes in fusing modern dance with jazz and tap. Company members choreograph their own dances and frequently offer free classes and shows for children and adults.

Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform the hit musical “Cabaret,” from Fri., April 19 through Sun., April 21, in the Kepler Theater on HCC’s main campus.

Show times are 8 p.m. on April 19 and 20. A special matinee performance will be held on April 21 at 2:30 p.m. General admission is $10, but HCC students, staff, and faculty can attend for free.
