The HCC Public Information Office is looking for men and women of all ages and ethnicities to use in promotional materials such as course schedules and catalogs, as well as on the HCC website. All current students are welcome.
 
When: Wed., April 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Valley Eatery (upper level, Career Programs Building) and Thurs., April 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Center.

Annual HCC Foundation Tribute Dinner

The HCC Foundation will hold its annual Tribute Dinner on Fri., March 23, at 7 p.m., in the college's Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC). This year's tribute will honor community leaders and philanthropists Don and Jone Bowman. Cocktails will be held at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Cost is $125 per person. Proceeds will benefit HCC student scholarships.

RSVPs are required. Please RSVP no later than March 5, 2012. 

Public Safety Awards

HCC will host the annual Public Safety Awards ceremony on Thurs., May 3, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Kepler Building on HCC’s main campus.

The Public Safety Awards recognize officers who have served the citizens of Washington County in an exemplary manner during the past year. The public is invited to attend this event. Light refreshments will be served.

The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USM-H) will hold an open house on Wed., March 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the USM-H Building located at 32 W. Washington Street in Hagerstown. Meet faculty and staff and learn about graduate and undergraduate degree programs offered through USM-H.

Kreykenbohm Lecture featuring Mary Jo Salter

HCC will present its annual Kreykenbohm lecture series on Sat., April 28, at 8 p.m., in the newly renovated Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus. The lecture series is named after Helen Kreykenbohm, a retired professor of foreign languages and former humanities division chair at HCC. Held annually each year, the Kreykenbohm lecture series seeks to promote the arts and humanities in the local area.

HCC will host its annual faculty art show from Fri., March 30 through Fri., April 20, in the newly renovated Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.

The art show will feature faculty artists exhibiting a host of work that includes ceramics, painting, jewelry, drawing, video, prints, and sculpture. The art exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 20.
