TRiO Upward Bound Zumbathon

HCC's TRiO Upward Bound program is hosting a Zumbathon on Sunday, August 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the ARCC. This event is open to the public. Participants are asked to donate $10 at the door. This event will directly benefit the TRiO Upward Bound Program Scholarship Fund.

“Tribal Gaming Strategies toward a Sustainable Future” presented by Dr. Janie Hall

Dr. Janie Hall will make a presentation on her dissertation topic, “Tribal Gaming Strategies toward a Sustainable Future,” on Monday, July 11 at 11 a.m. in BSH 104. All HCC students are invited to attend. Refreshments will be available and participants are welcome to bring their lunch.

Advanced Manufacturing Institute

HCC is offering an Advanced Manufacturing Institute this summer for area high school students and graduates. This competitive program provides three college credits at the completion of the summer program. Funding from the National Science Foundation allows students to attend the institute for free.

Book Buyback

The HCC Campus Store (Bookstore) will have a textbook buyback from December 12 - 16, each day in the HCC Campus Store. An HCC Student ID is required. Please note that HCC Campus Store is now located in the Student Center, room 48 across from the Hilltop Grill.

70th Anniversary Gala & Dinner Dance

HCC's 70th Anniversary Gala & Dinner Dance will be held at Fountain Head Country Club on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Invitations will be mailed in August.

Earth Day Celebration

HCC will celebrate Earth Day beginning with campus clean-up at 8:30, followed by the Fountain Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. in front of the Career Programs Building. A presentation on recycling and sustainability will be given at 1 p.m. in the Student Center by HCC Biology student Scott Gregory.
