The HCC NOW Club will hold its annual “V-Day” event on Fri., Feb. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Career Programs Building, rooms 210-214.

“V-Day” is a special event inspired by 1 Billion Rising, an advocacy group that seeks to end violence against women.

College for Kids Open House

The Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College will host a College for Kids open house on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.

HCC’s College for Kids program is held annually each summer and offers over 70 different courses to more than 700 students. Classes are taught by highly qualified teachers in a small class setting with an emphasis on hands-on, interactive learning experiences specially geared towards children going into grades two through ten.

HCC's annual CREAS (Criminal Response Emergency Assessment Scenario) mock trauma event will be held on Sat., April 12, beginning at 9 a.m. This event involves HCC students and staff from the nursing and health sciences division. This event is a training exercise and is not open to the public.
