Hedge Apple Submissions Due

Submissions to HCC's Literary Arts Magazine, the Hedge Apple, are due Feb. 15. Submissions can include the following:

  • 3 to 5 poems
  • 1 to 2 short stories
  • 3 to 5 pieces of artwork

HCC students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to submit. Submissions should be sent electronically as attachments to Include your name and a brief bio with your submission.

Previously published works will be accepted; please provide previous publishing information (if any) when you submit.

2011 Biotech Summer Institute

2011 Biotech Summer Institute

HCC’s biotechnology program began in 2007. The College held its first summer institute for high school students in 2009 and will hold the 2011 Biotechnology Summer Institute from June 10 through Aug. 4. Participating high schools students can receive seven college credits. Tuition and fees are free for qualified ESSENCE students.
