A job recruiter from Baltimore Life will be on campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Thurs., Oct. 29 to accept applications from students for sales agents. The recruiter will be stationed at the Valley Eatery in the upper level of the Career Programs Building.

National Radiologic Technology Week

National Radiologic Technology Week commemorates the discovery of x-rays by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895 and celebrates the vital role that radiologic technologists play in the healthcare field.

HCC will hold a launch party for the most recent publication of its literary arts magazine, the Hedge Apple, on Mon., Oct. 12, at 7 p.m., in the Student Center.

HCC's annual Turkey Trot fundraiser will be held on Thanksgiving Day. Race starts at 9 a.m. Non-perishable items will be donated to Community Food Bank Warehouse.

Wed., Oct. 7 is the United Way Day of Caring. Additional information TBA.

On Sat., Sept. 17, HCC's Student Government Association (SGA) is sponsoring a chartered bus trip to Washington D.C. in honor of Constitution Day. Bus leaves from the ARCC parking lot at 9 a.m. and will return at 5:30 p.m.

The HCC Foundation will host the annual R. Benjamin Jones Art Show on Fri., Nov. 20, from 5 to 9 p.m., and Sat., Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in HCC's Kepler Theater. The event is free and open to the public.

HCC's Alumni Association is hosting its 2nd Annual Cash Bonanza on Fri., Oct. 9, at the Elks Lodge #378 on Robinwood Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
