Distracted Driving Simulator on Campus

On Thursday, Sept. 11, an "Arrive Alive" Distracted Driving Simulator will be on campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Student Center. Any HCC student is welcome to try the simulator, which is intended to show how quickly texting and driving can cause traffic accidents. Meritus Health is sponsoring the event and will be on campus to provide giveaways and other information.

Nerdy Day Trivia Contest: Super Heroes

Nerdy Day Trivia Contest from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Student Center. Topic: Superheroes. HCC students can sign up at the Student Activities Desk in the Student Center. Form a team with two friends and test your superhero knowledge against fellow students. Winning team gets $30 in 2nd &Charles gift cards. Come dressed in costume and best costume gets a $25 Regal Cinema gift card.

Campus clubs, student services departments, and local non-profit groups offer ways for students to get involved on campus and in the community. Snacks, food, and drinks will be provided.
