Honors Program Applications & Faculty Recommendation Forms

Currently enrolled students should initiate the application process by filling out the top of the Current/Transfer Student form and giving the form to a faculty member in their declared major.

Recent high school graduates who are first time HCC students need to fill out the top of the Recent High School Graduates form and have a teacher in their declared area of interest fill out the rest of the form. Teachers should return the form to the student in a sealed envelope. The student should submit the application/recommendation form, along with official high school transcripts and proof of SAT scores if applicable, to HCC.

Students who are dual-enrolled (e.g. ESSENCE or Middle College students) need fill out the top of the Dual-Enrolled Students form and have either a high school teacher or HCC faculty member complete the rest of the form. High school teachers should return the form to the student in a sealed envelope; HCC faculty members can submit the forms directly.

All documents pertaining to admission to the honors program should be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Enrollment at HCC.
