Before submitting a supplemental application for a nursing program, you must first apply for admission to HCC.
This application, official transcripts from all colleges attended (HCC calculates cumulative GPA from all college coursework as part of the scoring process), an official high school transcript or GED transcript, and official TEAS test results must be received by the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management by the program application deadline of March 15. Students applying by November 1 will be given first preference into the program. The final admission deadline is April 1. Students completing classes at HCC do not need to submit an official HCC transcript. The first round of program acceptance or denial letters are mailed in mid-to-late January. The second round of acceptance or denial letters are mailed in mid-to-late May.
Program begins in July. Notification regarding acceptance into the program is mailed in mid-April. Applicants must be a high school graduate or a recipient of a GED (proof must be on file by the application deadline). All documentation must be received by the deadline.
