The Paramedic Program Lab Assistant is responsible for supporting the paramedic program skills laboratories in conjuction with program faculty, which includes the use of simulation and other technologies that assists students in meeting program outcomes.

Position Available: 
Based on the needs of the Paramedic Program each semester
Education and experience - Current National Registry Paramedic Certification required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience teaching for a community college, specifically instruction of Advanced Life Support, as well as, experience in setting up, proctoring, and maintaining the paramedic lab experience. Experience in the set up of National Registry Skills Testing preferred. ACLS, PALS, BCLS, PHTLS provider and instructor certifications preferred. Skills and abilities - Excellent organization and management skills. Ability to work with clinical simulation and clinical technology. Knowledge of diagnostic and patient care supplies and equipment. Knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to establish good working relationships with staff, students, and the community. Able to organize and prioritize work, make decisions independently, and attend to details.
