Faculty, Digital Instrumentation and Process Control Technology #14-027

This is a full-time, tenure track, 10-month faculty position teaching courses in the areas of instrumentation and process control technology. This is a lead faculty position that has broad curriculum responsibilities and also coordinates adjunct faculty who teach the programs' specialty courses. Base load is 15 credit hours of teaching per semester or equivalent in credit and non-credit instruction.

Qualifications: 
Education and experience - Preferred BS Electrical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering Technology, or BS Engineering Science; Minimum requirement of Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with substantial work experience, PLC Controls Engineer. Skills and Abilities - Excellent oral and written communication skills; high level of computer literacy skills, i.e., file management, computer logic, computer programming, simulation software; commercial and/or industrial experience in instrumentation and process control.
