The HCC Science Club invites you to the annual Junk Food Study Night in the Science Building on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. All students are welcome! Get the confidence to pass those science finals. For information, contact Mylynh at mnguyen@hagerstowncc.edu.

The Science Club will hold its monthly meeting in SCI-106. Free pizza. Come to the meeting to sign up and discover more about upcoming activities, including: Bowling Night Nov. 4, hiking trip Nov. 6, Biomedical Sciences seminar Nov. 17, Adopt a Highway clean-up Nov. 20.

Come to the Science Building, room 117, to watch a free showing of "No Impact Man," a documentary that follows  a Manhattan-based family that decides to abandon their high consumption lifestyle and try to make it one year with no net environmental impact.

This event is free and is open to all students. Light refreshments will be served.

Earth Day posters will be on display in the Science Building from April 18 through April 22. The posters were created by students in Ellen Smith's graphic design classes.

The Science Club will meet on Thurs., Oct. 21, at 2:30 p.m., in the Science Building, room 106. Free pizza will be available to attendees.

Volunteer to help clean-up MD Rt-64 with the Science Club. Meet in SCI-117 at 12:45 p.m. on Fri., April 23 to watch a brief safety video and receive supplies.

On Tues., April 20, the Science Club will show the award-winning documentary "Addicted to Plastic: The Rise and Demise of a Modern Miracle," beginning at 2:30 p.m., in the Science Building, room 117. Created by Ian Connacher, this documentary addresses the issues of excessive plastic pollution.
