Seminar to focus on creating positive workplace

The Center for Continuing Education at Hagerstown Community College Center will offer its 12th Annual Seminar for Health Care Managers and Leaders, in celebration of Nurse Week, entitled “Creating a Positive Workplace: Finding and Keeping Tomorrow’s Workforce.” It will be held on May 6, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Jo Manion, Ph.D., R.N., C.N.A.A., F.A.A.N., will speak on creating positive workplace environments with high impact retention strategies. She will examine the concept of joy at work and what the leader can do to increase the likelihood that employees and leaders alike experience joy through their work.
The fee for the seminar is $89 when registering three or more individuals, or $99 per single participant. To register, call HCC at 301-790-2800, ext. 236.
