Maryland’s poet laureate to speak at HCC

Michael S. Glaser, poet laureate of Maryland, will speak at Hagerstown Community College for the seventeenth annual Kreykenbohm Lecture, on Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Kepler Theater.
Glaser is a professor of English at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and was appointed poet laureate by Maryland Governor Robert L. Erhlich in 2004. Glaser is a nationally recognized poet and has published more than 300 original poems in various literary journals, newspapers and anthologies. His collection of poems, “A Lover’s Eye,” is in its second printing. He recently released a new collection, “Being a Father,” which is published by Bunny and Crocodile Press for Seasonings Press.
