Financial Markets: Outlook 2007 to be discussed

Hagerstown Community College’s Technical Innovation Center (TIC) will show a DVD of the recent live webcast from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum and the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge entitled “Financial Markets: Outlook 2007.” The broadcast, originally scheduled in January, will be shown Thursday, March 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the TIC.

During the webcast, a panel of experts discusses the influences on the financial markets for 2007 and how they affect one’s business. Some of the questions answered are:
     • What is the general outlook for the economy--local, national, and global--for 2007?
     • What structural and regulatory issues will shape the capital markets over the coming year?
     • How will all of these affect a company’s financial strategies?
