MIT entrepreneurial broadcast planned at HCC

Hagerstown Community College’s Technical Innovation Center is a viewing site for the next live broadcast presented by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum entitled “Pathways to Entrepreneurship.” The broadcast will be held on Tues., Sept. 23, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in TIC conference room 208.
     
The broadcast will address the issues and challenges facing those who wish to begin a high-tech operation or business and is specially geared towards female entrepreneurs. A panel of successful female entrepreneurs will discuss their various approaches to launching, funding, and leading start-up businesses. Panel members include Robin Chase, founder of ZipCar, GoLoco.org, and Meadow Networks, Priya Iyler, president of Anaqua, Christina Lampe-Onnerud, founder and CEO at Boston-Power, and Susan Lindquist, professor of biology at MIT and scientific founder of FoldRX Pharma. Candida Brush, division chair in entrepreneurship at Babson College will act as moderator.
