Maryland title producer pre-licensing course offered through HCC

Hagerstown Community College’s Center for Continuing Education is offering a course through MODA Systems, Inc. for those interested in becoming a Maryland Title Producer, from January 12 through February 9, at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.
This course is intended to prepare students for the Maryland Licensing Examination required to become a Maryland Title Producer. Discussion topics include the history of title insurance, as well as a review of title policy in regards to both state and federal laws. Classes will meet every Monday, from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. Class sessions total 16 hours with an additional 14 hours completed as self-study outside the classroom. Cost is $300.
