CNA/GNA graduation held May 6

HCC will hold is annual graduation and pinning ceremony for Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant students on Wed., May 6, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., in the Classroom Building Auditorium (CLR-111). Students will be presented with certificates and pins by Deb McClain, HCC instructor, CNA/GNA and Certified Medicine Aide
The CNA/GNA program is a seven-credit-hour program that awards students with a letter of recognition upon completion. Course content includes disease processes, systems review, nutrition, and infection control. Successful completion of the program allows students to be registered with the Maryland Board of Nursing as a certified nursing assistant. Students who have completed the program are also eligible to sit for the state exam for geriatric nursing assistants.
