National Career Development Week

From Mon, Nov. 16 from Fri., Nov. 20, HCC's Internship and Job Services Office is partnering with the Office of Academic Advising to host National Career Development Week. A variety of career-oriented events will be held on campus throughout the week.

Mon., Nov. 16 - Thurs. Nov. 19

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

Students can take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for free, learn their personality type, and discover related career paths. Offered daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Administration and Student Affairs Building (ASA), room 900.

Amazing Career Race

Students are encouraged to take part in the Amazing Career Race Career Scavenger Hunt. Students can pick up their first clue in the ASA building, room 900 between Mon., Nov. 16 and Thurs., Nov. 19.

All completed race forms must be turned into the Welcome Desk, located in the ASA Building, by Thurs., Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. Participating students earn a chance to win an IPod Touch.

Wed., Nov. 18

HCC Internship Fair

Meet with area employers to learn about the wide range of internship opportunities that are available to HCC students. The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in The Merle S. Elliott Continuing Education Conference Center located in the upper level of the Career Programs Building, room 211 (next to the Valley Eatery).
