(November 30, 2009) - Officials at Hagerstown Community College recently honored Associated Radiologists, P.A. (AR) for generous donations and contributions made to HCC’s radiography and medical imaging programs.
“Since 1997, this group has donated funds towards the Continuing Education radiography series, which helps bring nationally known experts to the medical imaging professionals in the quad state region,” says Angie Stoops, HCC director, health sciences division. “The funds donated by Associated Radiologists also support specific student educational endeavors in medical imaging, allowing us to bring in guest lecturers. Associated Radiologists has also created a medical imaging scholarship for our students that has a value of almost $38,000.”
In recognition of AR contributions to HCC, Kenneth Lutz, Chief Operating Officer of Associated Radiologists, P.A., was presented with a plaque of appreciation on Nov. 10, 2009.
