Eating disorders can lead to a number of serious and sometimes life threatening health problems.  While the exact cause can be difficult to identify, it is commonly believed that any combination of biological, behavioral and social factors can be a contributing factor.  This four-hour seminar will address the major types of eating disorders, emotional factors that predispose individuals to eating disorder, health concerns, interventions and treatment.
