Show added to Summer Concert Series

Hagerstown Community College’s Alumni Association recently announced that a new show has been added to the schedule for the Sixth Annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series.

The U.S. Navy Country Current will perform on Tues., Aug. 31, at 6 p.m., in the Alumni Amphitheater. The Country Current had been scheduled to appear at HCC in early June but was forced to cancel due to severe thunderstorms.

The Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series will continue through early September.

Remaining concerts include:

•    Sun., Aug. 15, 2010: U.S. Navy Cruisers Band at 4:30 p.m.
•    Thurs., Aug. 19, 2010: U.S. Navy Sea Chanters (Choral Group) at 6 p.m.
•    Fri., Aug. 20, 2010: U.S. Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants at 6 p.m.
•    Tues., Aug. 24, 2010: U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors at 6 p.m.
•    Tues., Aug. 31, 2010: U.S. Navy Country Current at 6 p.m.
•    Fri., Sept. 10, 2010: U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note at 6 p.m.

All concerts are free, open to the public, and will be held in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds.
