Welcome Back Week begins Aug. 30

HCC's Student Government Association is hosting a Welcome Back Week for students from Mon., Aug. 30 through Fri., Sept. 3. Fun, free events are happening on campus throughout the week including a beach day, carnival day, fun in the sun day, school spirit day, and a foam party on Friday night.

Welcome Back Week - Aug. 30 through Sept. 3

Mon., Aug. 30
Beach Day: Head back to the beach with a surf machine, make-your-own-flip flops, airbrush tattoos, ice cream, and more. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center.

Tues., Aug. 31
Carnival Day: Carnival food and fun including a giant obstacle course race and spin art frisbees. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center.

Wed., Sept. 1
Fun in the Sun Day: Get outside and play with pick-up lawn games, snacks, caricature drawings, and lots of fun from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center. A schedule of events will be posted in the lobby.

Thurs., Sept. 2
School Spirit Day: Show your HCC spirit with sports-related activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Student Center, followed by a party on the patio and football on the big screen beginning at 6 p.m. Wear your favorite sports jersey and be entered in a drawing for prizes.

Fri., Sept. 3
Foam Party: Don't miss HCC's first Foam Party from 8 p.m. to midnight. Music, food, and fun! A deejay will be in the Student Center from 8 p.m. to midnight. Students can wear shorts and a t-shirt. Bathing suits are not allowed. You will get messy so don't wear anything you don't want to get wet.
