HCC holds Annual Turkey Trot on Nov. 25

HCC will once again hold its annual Turkey Trot fundraiser on Thanksgiving Day: Thurs., Nov. 25, 2010. The 10th Annual Turkey Trot will once again feature a 5K run, kids' race, and food drive. All Turkey Trot participants are asked to bring a few canned/nonperishable goods with them on Thanksgiving morning. The items will be donated to the Community Food Bank Warehouse. Participants who donate canned goods will be entered for a chance to win one of five grand prizes.

The kids race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the adult race will begin at 9 a.m. All proceeds benefit scholarship funds for HCC's men and women's track and field teams, as well as HCC's softball team.

Adult race: Cost is $20 if you register before Nov. 24 and $25 if you register on race day.

Kids race: Cost is $10 is you register before Nov. 24 and $13 if you register on race day.
