Robinwood Players perform Carpe Jugulum
Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Mon, 11/22/2010 - 10:44am
Dec 4 2010 - 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform their winter show, “Carpe Jugulum,” on Thurs., Dec. 2, Fri., Dec. 3, and Sat., Dec. 4, and Sun., Dec. 5, in HCC’s Kepler Theater.
“Carpe Jugulum” is based on the comic fantasy novel of the same name by award-winning science fiction author Terry Pratchett. The novel is part of Pratchett’s best-selling Discworld series and provides a tongue-in-cheek look at the world of vampires. It was adapted for the stage by playwright Stephen Briggs.
Show times are 8 p.m. each night from Dec. 2 through Dec 4. Show time is 2 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 5. General admission is $10 but HCC students, staff, and faculty can attend for free with a valid ID. Tickets are available at the door but can also be purchased in advance at the HCC Bookstore by calling 301-790-2800, ext. 271.
