Motorcycle Safety Open House held Jan. 13

Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Community Services Division is offering a free Motorcycle Safety Pre-Registration and Open House on Thurs., Jan. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.

Participants can learn more about HCC’s motorcycle safety training program by meeting HCC’s certified motorcycle safety instructors and learning about upcoming classes that are available in spring 2011. Participants can also pre-register for motorcycle training classes and visit with vendors from local motorcycle businesses such as Harley Davidson of Williamsport, Twigg Cycles, Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic, Motorcycle Excitement Track Days and Riding School, and Motorcycle Center of Maryland. New motorcycles will be on display and participants are encouraged to try out the new Honda SMARTrainer, an interactive motorcycle riding simulator. To preview the simulator, click here.
