(Release: February 17, 2011) - Nine students at Hagerstown Community College were recently inducted into the Maryland Zeta Chapter of Lambda Nu (LN), a national honor society for radiologic and imaging sciences.
HCC inductees included Danielle Coyle, of Cascade; Brittany Brown and Misty Sanbower, both of Chambersburg, Pa.; Kerri Maus, of Hagerstown; Dijana Mitrovic, of Lemoyne, Pa.; Jessica Mathis, of Mt. Airy; Danielle Garst, of New Windsor, Md.; Michael Draper, of South Mountain, Pa.; and Stephanie Crilley, of Waynesboro, Pa.
To be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, must be enrolled in a radiologic or imaging sciences program as a full-time student for at least one semester, and must demonstrate commitment to the profession.
HCC has been a charter chapter member of Lambda Nu since the society first began in 2001. Currently, there are 118 LN Chapters in 40 states with new charters being issued every month. To find out more about Lambda Nu, visit www.lambdanu.org.
