Entry-level bookkeeping course offered at HCC

This fall, Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Community Services Division is offering “Bookkeeper – Entry Level I” on Wednesday evenings, from 6 to 9 p.m., beginning Sept. 21 and ending Dec. 7.
This entry-level course will teach practical approaches to real-life issues and teach participants how to master basic record-keeping procedures. Topics covered will include the fundamentals of accounting, accounting cycles, journal and ledger entries, financial statements, and other basic procedures. Cost is $500.
All classes will be held in the Career Programs Building on HCC’s main campus. Class size is limited to 20 participants. For more information or to register, call 301-790-2800, ext. 236.
