Student events in February

HCC Student Government Association

This February, a variety of fun-filled student events are happening on campus. Events include a Valentine's dance as well as auditions for the upcoming BSU Fashion Show and the Robinwood Players Variety Show.

Upcoming Events

Fri., Feb. 10 –Valentine's Dance

HCC's Student Government Association will hold the annual Student Valentine’s Dance on from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Student Center. This year’s theme is “It’s a Love/Hate Kinda Thing!” – so whether you are head-over-heals in love, or think love stinks – this is your place to celebrate.

Admission is free for HCC students with a valid student ID and one guest, age 16 or older. Dress is come-as-you-are. There will be a professional DJ playing dance music, mushy love songs and anti-love songs, great food, and lots of fun activities and prizes throughout the night. Students can park in the lots in front of the Administration and Student Affairs (ASA) Building.


Upcoming Auditions

Fri., Feb. 10 - BSU Fashion Show Auditions

HCC's Black Student Union (BSU) will hold its final casting call for its upcoming fashion show on Fri., Feb. 10, from 5 to 9 p.m., in the Kepler Blackbox Theater (room 101).

Fri., Feb. 10 - Robinwood Players Variety Show Auditions

The next audition for the upcoming Robinwood Players Variety Show will be held on Fri., Feb. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the new Performing and Visual Arts Education Center at Kepler.
