HCC offers child development course for child care providers

Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Community Services Division is offering “Child Care I – Child Development” on Mondays, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., beginning March 12 and ending June 25.

Discussion topics include major theories of child development, learning domains, and positive guidance techniques. This course also meets the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Child Care requirements for child care providers when combined with HCC’s Child Care II and Child Care III courses, both of which will be offered at a later date. Cost is $300.
