HCC announces deadline for 2012-2013 scholarships

The Foundation at Hagerstown Community College recently announced its scholarship application deadline for the 2012-2013 academic year. Deadline to apply is April 17 at 4 p.m. 

New and returning students in degree programs of study can apply for HCC Foundation scholarships. Categories include general HCC Foundation scholarships, Booster Club (athletic) scholarships, Faculty/Foundation scholarships for academic excellence, HCC Alumni Association scholarships, and several other scholarships for students in particular areas of study.

Students who currently receive an HCC Foundation scholarship must reapply for the 2012-2013 academic year. To apply for HCC Foundation scholarships and most student financial aid scholarships, students must be enrolled for at least six credit hours.

Scholarships are made possible through contributions by private individuals, HCC employees, civic groups, businesses, foundations, and corporations.
