This summer, Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Community Services Division will once again offer its annual College for Kids summer enrichment program.

HCC’s College for Kids has been in existence since 1987 and now offers over 70 different courses to more than 700 students. Classes are taught by highly qualified teachers in a small class setting with an emphasis on hands-on, interactive learning experiences specially geared towards children going into grades two through ten. A wide range of classes are available that feature everything from science, computers, music, and theater to history, art, fashion, and travel, with new programs being added each year.

Classes start June 25 and will continue through the week of August 3. Students meet Monday through Friday, from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Individual course costs will vary according to section and materials needed.

Registration is available online through WebAdvisor, or by calling 240-500-2236. For more information about the courses offered, or to learn more about the program instructors, go to www.hagerstowncc.edu/kids.
