Hub Opera Ensemble peforms "Carmen"

HCC will host The Hub Opera Ensemble for its performance of “Carmen” on June 1,3, 7, and 9.

The Hub Opera Ensemble boasts a corps of young, rising opera singers. According to the ensemble’s website, “Carmen” tells the story of a “passionate soldier's ill-fated obsession with the ultimate femme fatale.”

All shows will take place in HCC’s Kepler Theater. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Fri., June 1, Thurs., June 7, and Sat., June. 9. There will be a matinee performance at 3 p.m. on Sun., June 3. Advance tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students/seniors and can be purchased online at www.huboperaensemble.org.

Tickets will also be available at the door prior to each performance. Adult rate is $25 and student/senior rate is $20. HCC students, staff, and faculty can attend for free. For more information, email hubopera@huboperaensemble.org.
