2012 Quest for Excellence

MCCSUN (Maryland Community College Simulation Users Network) proudly presents the 3rd Annual Quest for Excellence Nursing Simulation conference on June 5th and 6th, 2012 at Hagerstown Community College.
The Quest for Excellence is returning to its roots with novice and advanced session tracks. Live pediatric and psychiatric scenarios will be offered, as requested by past conference attendees. This conference is customized to meet simulation educator needs from direct care to academia settings. Attendees will gain creative simulation ideas, new presentation methods and forward-thinking curriculum trends from local and national experts.
This 2-day conference is designed to focus on the unique simulation needs of community college academia and the latest advancements that simulation has to offer. Sessions will be presented by experts in a variety of innovative training formats. The 2012 Quest for Excellence will be an opportune platform for enhanced simulation learning and networking with fellow colleagues.

Who Should Attend
Community College and University Nursing and Allied Health Programs: Faculty, Lab Coordinators, and Lab Technicians interested in incorporating simulation within course curricula. The conference will be attractive to those seeking an introduction to nursing simulation and those with extended simulation knowledge and experience.
Conference Fee: $300
The first 110 registered Maryland Community College attendees will receive a $200 registration scholarship supported by the Nurse Support Program II grant under the auspices of the Health Cost Review Commission.

Nurses & Nurse Practitioners (11) The Maryland Community College Association for Continuing Education and Training is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
