PTK offers free math workshop

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is offering a math workshop for Math 098-, 099-, and 100-level students on Fri., Nov. 30, from 3 to 5 p.m., in the Career Programs Building, rooms 211 and 213.
The workshop will help students develop their skills with adding and subtracting fractions to become proficient in math, while participating in a single-blind study. Participants will be entered to win a drawing for a $50 gas card.
This event is free and is open to any currently enrolled student at HCC. Seating is limited to 40 participants so reserve your spot today by emailing Allie Villatoro at allie.r.villatoro@gmail.com. Reservations must be made by Thurs., Nov. 29.
