Learn the art of figure drawing this spring
Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Wed, 11/28/2012 - 10:48am
Hagerstown Community College will offer a figure drawing class on Wednesday afternoons, from 1 to 4:35 p.m., beginning Jan. 16 and ending May 1, in the Kepler Center.
The class will work from live models and the human skeleton in order to gain a better understanding of body structure. Lecture topics will feature diverse masterworks, offering students the opportunity to relate to different artistic styles and ultimately help them understand how their preferences in style impact their own work.
For more information about the course, contact HCC instructor Janet Salter at jsalter@hagerstowncc.edu. To register, call 240-500-2238 or go to www.hagerstowncc.edu/registration/online.
