Annual MLK Day event held Jan. 21

HCC is officially closed on Mon., Jan. 21 but students, staff, faculty, and the public are encouraged to attend the Annual MLK Day Diversity Celebration, which will be held on Jan. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Kepler Center.
Program Details:
Emcee: HCC Professor Michael Harsh
- Musical performance by New Joy Fellowship Seventh Day Adventist Mass Choir
- Welcome from Dr. Guy Altieri, HCC President
- Keynote by Rev. Darin Mency, pastor, Greater Campher Temple
- Musical performance by HCC alum Zachary Worthy
- Cultural presentation about Trinidad by Kandis Martin
- Performance by HCC Dance Team
- Dramatic rendition of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech by Rev. Mency
- Showing of anniversary video to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of HCC's MLK Diversity Celebration
Refreshments to be served immediately after the performance. Artwork by Graphic Design students will be on display in the Kepler lobby. Sponsored by Hagerstown Community College
