HCC to hold media communication workshop on Jan. 24

Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Business Services Division will hold a one-hour workshop, beginning at 5:30 p.m., on Thurs., Jan. 24, in the Career Programs Building on HCC’s main campus.

The workshop, “Media Communication Best Practices with Katy,” will feature Katy Dickinson, co-host of WAYZ’s Tiny & Katy Show. Dickinson will off helpful tips, suggestions, and advice on how small businesses can maximize their media relations, promote newsworthy stories, and successfully get their messages heard through various media outlets.
