Annual Tribute raises money for scholarships

The HCC Foundation held its annual Tribute Dinner on April 5 in the ARCC. This year's event, which honored community leader and philanthropist Howard "Blackie" Bowen, was one of the largest in HCC's history with 750 people attending.
The HCC Foundation has been honoring community leaders and philanthropists since 2000. Past honorees have included:
- Ron Bowers (2000)
- Joe Tischer (2001)
- Dr. Norman Shea (2002)
- Jim Brown (2003)
- Merle Elliott (2004)
- Nick Giannaris (2005)
- John Waltersdorf (2006)
- Lois and Dick Harrison (2007)
- Gregory Snook (2008)
- Bill and Margaret Hetzer (2009)
- Richard Phoebus (2010)
- Jack and Anna Hershey (2011)
- Don and Jone Bowman (2012)
