Personal enrichment classes offered at HCC

The Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College is offering a wide selection of personal enrichment classes in Jan., Feb., and March.
Art classes include chair caning, stained glass, jewelry making, and calligraphy. Music courses include several different classes and workshops on bluegrass. There are writing classes for fiction and nonfiction writing, as well as a publishing class. “Family Fun with Science” is a new course, supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation, where fourth and fifth grade students and their parents experience hands-on activities in biotechnology and forensic science. Photography courses include basic, level II, portrait, and black and white photography. Ballroom dancing, ballet, and Middle Eastern dancing classes are also offered.
