(Release: January 31, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College’s Alumni Association recently announced a special winter performance by the American Clarinet Quartet on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at 7 p.m., in the Kepler Theater on HCC’s main campus.
Part of the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band, the American Clarinet Quartet featured four professional musicians performing music for audiences of all ages. According to the band’s website, the American Clarinet Quartet’s diverse repertoire includes traditional classical music, rousing patriotic marches, Klezmer music, Broadway, Jazz, Latin and South American music, as well as members’ own original arrangements.
This Red, White and Blue concert is free and is open to the public. An additional performance of the American Clarinet Quartet will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 3 p.m., at the Western Maryland Hospital Center Auditorium.
