The 2019-2020 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the online application that determines eligibility for the federal Pell grant, federal student loans, Maryland grants and scholarships, and scholarships through Hagerstown Community College.
Maryland residents are encouraged to submit their 2019-2020 FAFSA at https://fafsa.gov by March 1 in order to meet the deadline for a number of Maryland state grants/scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year. For students/parents who file taxes, you will use 2017 tax information to complete the FAFSA.
If you are applying for financial aid for the current school year, please complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA, which uses 2016 tax information.
Please contact the HCC Student Financial Aid Office at 240-500-2473 or firstname.lastname@example.org for questions about completing the FAFSA.
