The Non Profit Institute is a 10 session program that will:
- Increase organizational effectiveness
- Increase donor support
- Increase your impact on the community to achieve your mission
- Prepare your organization to begin the accreditation process for the Standards of Excellence
Once monthly, August 2019 through May 2020, participants will come to the Leadership Academy at Hagerstown Community College. Each of the 10 sessions offer practical work time, directed learning, and assignments for the next session. Sessions led by Tony Williams, include guest lecturers whose professional experiences add depth as well as a practical application of the session content.

Why Standards of Excellence?
The foundation of the Standards of Excellence program is the published Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. It identifies major areas of nonprofit governance and management.
Each topic area includes specific benchmarks and measures that provide a structured approach to building capacity, accountability, and sustainability in your organization.
About the instructor: Anthony Williams, licensed Standards of Excellence Institute consultant, HCC adjunct faculty member and founder of Beacon House, will lead local leaders in nonprofit organizations on a 10 session leadership journey.
