(June 4, 2019)— The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Tuesday, June 25, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
A traditional Air National Guard squadron, the band consists of 36 members, all National Guard members with civilian careers. The band performs as a concert band, ceremonial band, "High Altitude" Popular Music Ensemble, "Brass in Blue" brass quintet, "In Flight" woodwind quintet, and trombone quartet. The band's annual concert tours have taken it overseas to Germany, Holland, France, the Azores, Antigua-West Indies, Norway, England and Denmark.
Sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 312, Joint Veterans Council, Amvets Riders Chapter 10, and Forty & Eight Voiture 651, this concert is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds and concerts are subject to change by the U.S. Military.
