HCC announces SGA officers for 2017-18

The 2017-18 Student Government Association (SGA)

(November 3, 2017)— Hagerstown Community College recently announced its Student Government Association (SGA) officers and senators for the 2017-18 school year.

The 2017-18 HCC SGA is as follows: President, Channa Luke, of Myersville, age 18, majoring in engineering and physics; Vice President, Sarah Snouffer, of Smithsburg, age 24, majoring in human services; Secretary, Marta Delgado, of Hagerstown, age 46, majoring in graphic design; Treasurer, Owen Powell, of Myersville, age 18, majoring in engineering; Senator, Marriam Butt, of Hagerstown, age 19, majoring in psychology; Senator, Ethan Rubinstein, of Hagerstown, age 22, majoring in cybersecurity; Senator, Lois Ngam, of Hagerstown, age 19, majoring in nursing; and Senator, Brenda Rentas, of Hagerstown, age 37, majoring in psychology and sociology.

The SGA serves as the voice of the HCC student body. Each month the SGA president is invited to the HCC board meeting to present updates and issues.
