(November 27, 2018)— The Continuing Education and Workforce Development Division at Hagerstown Community College recently awarded the American Management Association Certificate of General and Human Resource Management to four students. Cole Ellsworth, Tyler Hendershot, Kelly Shank, and Mike Hannah, all of Hagerstown, completed the seven-course, 49-hour program at HCC’s Valley Mall Business Training Center.
Programs included in the course are communication, supervision, HR fundamentals, leadership, coaching, first line supervision, HR fundamentals, and project management. HCC, in partnership with the AMA, offers this series several times during the year. The next series begins on January 25, 2019.
Several other students completed the individual course on project management. They include Diane Lohr, of Hagerstown; Pete Low, of Hagerstown; Ms. Rice, of Hagerstown; Thad Rickland, of Chambersburg, Pa.; Wilma Moore, of Hagerstown; Lori Thomas, of Hagerstown; Deb Gilbert, of Hagerstown; Matt Mohler, of Greencastle, Pa.; and Brittany Yost, of Clear Spring.
