HCC graduates ninth class of Police Academy recruits

(December 20, 2017)— Hagerstown Community College recently graduated its ninth class of Police Academy recruits. Following remarks from HCC Police Academy Director David Simonetti, HCC President Guy Altieri, and student speaker Deputy Ethan Messineo, students were awarded certificates to commend their achievement.

Through the HCC Police Academy, these recruits completed the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions (MPCTC) training class objectives as well as the coursework necessary to earn a 27-credit certificate in administration of justice from HCC.
