(February 15, 2018)— Hagerstown Community College will hold a special information night for students interested in HCC’s ESSENCE Early College Program on Tuesday, March 6, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Career Programs Building, rooms 210 to 214.
The ESSENCE Program allows students to earn college credit while still attending high school. Through the program, students receive a 25 percent tuition reduction for their first 12 credits taken while still in high school. Students in the ESSENCE Program also have the opportunity to apply for a Pell Grant and scholarships.
The information night is geared towards high school students who plan to enroll in the ESSENCE Program for the upcoming 2018-2019 academic year. Advance registration is required.
